After years of disappointment with the content and quality of music; particularly in the hip-hop game, Step in Deep Entertainment was formed.  It's founders wanted to bring a new sound and a new look to this era in music and totally transform the industry.  Urban music was initially a medium for the expression of reality, whether that reality was joy or pain and it has since been transformed to a plantation of studio thugs and fake ballers who are overly self indulgent. The Step in Deep mission is to change the way you think and feel about this music and get brothers and sisters back to the real hip hop. Real being truth from the heart, rhyming skills and lyrical content....not platinum chains and rented Bentleys.  While some music enthusiast may believe that the aforementioned artist truly represent urban music or behave on their own accord, here at Step in Deep we believe they are enslaved and are being exploited to perpetuate stereotypes that are not necessarily true. We have come to sever these chains and allow artist to evolve while continuing to entertain.
